Where other mountains has powerful peaks, we have Fulufjellet that towering with its plateu of sandstone with a flat top with a lot of steep ice sides with valueable old forest thats squeezed betwheen Norway and Sweden with national parks on both sides.
Fulufjellet is easily accessable, both when it comes to getting there and traversing through the national park.
Central location betwheen two big tourist destinations you'll still be able to experience beautiful nature in silence.
Anceint forests, waterfalls and a grand plateu mountain in bear country adds a lot to this.
Here you can walk and entire day without meeting a single human.
The biggest part of the national parks is Snaufjell where "blokkmark" dominates.
In the ice sides theres a lot of anceint nature and old trees.
The yellow-green map lichen makes beautiful patterns on the rocks.
The mountain running is uniform with Precambrian sandstone, also named Trysil sandstone, but the landscape is varied.
Some places has forms of erosion such as wide gullies and cuts.
The highest point of the national park is the castle of the norwegian side with its 1047 moh.
